Red Dead Redemption
Most people think of cowboy games to be boring, me included, until I got my hands on a copy of Red Dead Redemption. Then my whole perspective changed. Even though people say that this game is "just the 1908 version of G.T.A" its a lot more than that. The concept of it is greater than G.T.A. The gameplay is greater than G.T.A. The game is better than G.T.A. The weapons are better, though there aren't any M16s and RPGs, Rockstar does a good job of bringing back weapons cowboys would use back then, and the arsenal used by these cowboys. Of course you aren't a cowboy which is what makes this game differ from the other western games. I guess in a way you are a bounty hunter, sent to hunt down your former outlaw "friends" one, is in fact, your brother. Also, this game isn't as naughty as G.T.A. in the way that you cant buy a Prostitute or do drugs or any of that. What you can do is play poker and other gambling casino games. So if you haven't gotten a copy of Red Dead what are you still doing on the computer?

In this game you attempt to survive and set up a means of civilization as you are attack constantly by slime , zombies , floating eye demons , giant worms , piranhas , jelly fish and many more on a trail to slaying you. Through out the game you create and improve your housing , weaponry and tools to help you have a accommodation to the lands vast amount of challenges . you can receive towns men such as the merchant, the nurse , the dryad, the guide ,the old man, the arms dealer , the demolitionist and the clothier but in order to do this you need to build a separate house for each of them and complete the set of task specific to every one of them. Overlord's plot is a medieval mysticism world so you are a overlord who has minions who pillage and cause evil and you control them so its all good. you have a castle and wield a all sorts of weaponry you are also magic.there are four different types of minions the browns who are the strongest and make weapons , there are the reds who are the only minions who can put out fires and they can throw fire, there are the greens who are the only minions who can go into toxic locations and they can jump onto the backs of there pray and stab them and there are the blues who are the weakest of the minions but they can heal and they are the only of the minions who can survive in water. In order to spawn these delightfully crude beings you must have a particular life force harvested from different creatures abundant to the world like sheep have brown life force, giant frogs have green life force, fire Beatles have red life force and swallows have blue life force. you too can be the all supreme overlord if you pick it up at the local game stop.
