L.A NOIRE

Your sitting in a car, when dispatch calls. A body has been found and they need your assistance. You are the #1 cop in the department, and the go-to guy. You flick on your sirens and speed to the spot of the crime. In a few hours, you'll track down the sick man who murdered a woman in cold blood. This is what it feels like to play L.A Noire. You don't feel like your playing as marine veteran Cole Phelps, but more that you are him. This game is like no other Rockstar, and in that matter, detective game out. when you think of Rockstar, you think of guns and running around and free killing. This game turns that thesis around. Instead of rewarding you for killing someone ( like G.T.A ) you get points took away at the end of your assignment.

What else makes this game like no other? Rockstar used a new and dynamic system that catches every twitch that happen on the actors face, which is highly important when your interrogating a suspect....which brings me to what's bad about it. There isn't much, but when interrogating, you have three choices: Truth, Doubt (you think their lying but you have no proof), And Lying (you know for a fact that they're lying, and you've got proof). Of course the game is very forgiving in the way that if you accuse someone of lying, but you have no proof, you can in fact "back out" of the accusation.

So over all, I have to give the game a 9.5/10. I gave it this score because of the breath-taking animations, which makes you feel like your watching a movie, and you can literally read the characters lips. And the difference between the usual Rockstar games. I didn't give it that last ".5" because there are a few things that need to be tweaked that would make this game perfect. But no-doubt I think this game has game-of-the-year in its grasp.

Dead Rising 2

You rev up your engine of your street-cycle and the chainsaws that are attached come to life. Even though your riding days are over, you need the money to buy the expensive medicine that defends your daughter from turning to a zombie. Too bad you couldn't save your wife. She died when the outbreak first started and you managed to save your daughter, but she was bitten. An alarm snaps you out of your thoughts and zombies are released from cages and wonder aimlessly in front of you. You have to Focus, you are Chuck Greene, motocross champion.....

If you played Deadrising, you know that it kinda....I don't know....sucked. With so many zombies you felt overwhelmed and like you couldn't go anywhere. And remember how P.O you got when you got so far in the game but couldn't find one of the very few bathrooms and had to start all over? We'll that was the first Deadrising , and Capcom must have figured out that the game was very tricky and decided to fix things up for the sequel, and fix things up they did.

Alright lets start with the things that were fixed in Deadrising 2. First off, the amount of zombies has been brought down a lot. Not so much that you never see one, but enough that you don't have to clear a path to keep walking. Something else they fixed? They added a lot more bathrooms so you can save in a lot more places. Also something they fixed is in the first game, they said everything was a weapon. Well that wasn't necessarily true in the first game. In the second game, everything has some use to Chuck. Now what do they add to this game? Well, you can now make weapons. Yes. You can make weapons. And you get XP for every zombie you kill with a special weapon.

That's my review for Deadrising 2 (catchy eh?)
